FOR BOTH WORKSPACES

Connect QuickBooks Online

Bring customers, invoices, and recorded payments into the right company.

01

Before you connect

You need owner or admin access in Clawrk and an Intuit account authorized to connect the QuickBooks Online company. Use a Clawrk company with no manual or CSV-imported invoices.

For one business, open My business → Accounting. In a practice, open the matching company in Clients → Accounting. You can also connect during setup.

02

Authorize and check the first sync

  1. Choose Connect, then select QuickBooks Online from the available integrations.
  2. Sign in to Intuit and select the company that matches this Clawrk business or client.
  3. Complete authorization and return to Clawrk. If the popup is blocked, use the offered same-tab path.
  4. Wait for the initial sync, then review customers, balances, due dates, and the connection status.
03

Where corrections belong

Correct connected invoices, payments, and credits in QuickBooks, then sync. Clawrk does not write those accounting changes back. Refreshing the page reloads the current Clawrk records; requesting a sync brings in accounting updates.

Before submitting an approved reminder, Clawrk checks the connected invoice again. If that check is unavailable or the record changed, the message is held.

04

Disconnecting or moving a company

Disconnecting revokes the connection and pauses follow-up while retaining imported records. Reconnect the same QuickBooks company and review it before resuming.

An existing connection is not automatically copied or moved to another workspace. Contact support if the company is already connected elsewhere.
